"Cyber Security and How to Protect Your Staffing Business"

Cyber-attacks are a constant threat to Staffing Companies. There is an infinite amount of information for the business along with the personal information for all of their employees. A single data breach can not only cost a lot to defend and recover, it takes time away from what you want to focus on which is maintaining and growing your business.

The panel of Kurt Murray from Assurance, Chris Leddy from Becker LLC and Michael Napolitano from Citrin Cooperman will share their collective stories in regards to cybersecurity they have experienced and offer guidance to ensure management can make practical decisions to protect your Staffing business.

Our panel will be taking a deep dive covering:

  • Contractual protection
  • Assumed Liabilities
  • Best practices to ensure data protection
  • Education for management and employees how to protect from a breach
  • Invoice manipulation and how to be aware and avoid

Speakers:

  • Kurt Murray, Principal, Assurance, a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC Company
  • Chris Leddy, Esq., Partner, Becker LLC
  • Michael Napolitano, Partner, Citrin Cooperman

"Legislative Update"

The results of the 2020 elections handed the Democratic party in Washington DC the trifecta: control of the House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate and the White House. However, with Covid-19 and an unsteady economy causing havoc, the legislative nirvana that was predicted has yet to arrive. As we head towards the 2022 midterm elections, Democrats hold on the House and Senate look tenuous, at best. What have been the accomplishments, and failures of the Biden administration and the 116th Congress to date? What is the state of Covid-19 administrative and legislative efforts? Is more relief legislation on the way? As the 2022 midterm elections approach, can Democrats hold onto their majorities? If they do, what will the legislative agenda of the 116th Congress look like? And if they don’t, what does that mean for the Administration and the business community heading into the 2024 elections?

"Navigating the COVID Vaccination Waters for Your Recruiters and Sales Team"

The COVID vaccination has been in existence for quite some time now and many companies are determining their own vaccination policies for their employees and contractors as a result. As staffing firms, we must be educated in what our clients can and cannot do and our role in placing our employees at their facilities, as well as what and what not to say or ask potential candidates for these roles.

We have put together a panel of professionals that can help your company assist sales and recruiting professionals navigate this complex subject.

  • What should sales individuals being asking current or new clients regarding their policies?
  • How do recruiters gather the information needed regarding their vaccination status if required? The do’s and don’ts

Speakers:

  • Cami Davis, In-House Counsel, System One
  • Guido Gabriele, In-house Counsel, ExecuSearch
  • Sue Aveta, VP of Phlebotomy, BioReference Laboratories
  • Greg Cahill, VP of HR, BioReference Laboratories
