There are many changes coming to NJ Temporary Disability (TDI) and Family Leave (FLI) that every employer needs to know about. A bill was singed in February, 2019 that increases the benefits an employee can receive when out on disability or family leave as well as increases to the amount employers and employees pay into the plan. This seminar will cover the benefit changes and dates, the cost increases for employers/employees and the options employers have to reduce these costs and improve claim services.

SPEAKERS:

Thomas Foschino is a Vice President at Arch Insurance responsible for managing disability product lines. In addition, Tom has been managing insurance and other technologies since 1987 at CSC, Zurich Insurance and Arch Insurance. He’s a graduate of New Jersey Institute of Technology and holds an Accident and Health Insurance licenses in NJ and NY.

James Iannicelli is an Assistant Vice President at Arch Insurance overseeing all disability underwriting. Jim has been managing NJ TDI (disability) underwriting since 1997 at CNA, Zurich Insurance and now Arch Insurance. He is a graduate of Axia College and Chubb Institute of Technology and holds an Accident and Health Insurance licenses in NJ and NY.

Dave Koch opened Two River Benefits in 2002 to serve New Jersey customers for all benefits programs. In 2004 he signed a deal with the NJSA to distribute a New Jersey Disability program to its members it has grown into a large program over the past 15 years and saved Staffing companies millions of dollars vs the State plan.  TEKCare  was formed in 2011 to address our National Health Reforms laws.  TEKCare was set up to deal with the Administrative hurdles that the Staffing Industry faces with the PPACA act designed by the Obama Administration.  Tekcare has it own proprietary products to solve  ACA’s fiduciary requirements for Staffing companies. The companies are currently working on a program to Manage all new and old  laws to deal with the PPACA, TDB/VDI, IRA laws enacted in 2018 in New Jersey and California.
