Statewide Paid Sick Leave Bill Is Up For A
Senate Committee Vote Today, March 7th
Contact Your Senator Today!

The Senate Budget Committee is scheduled to consider and vote on S-799 - the Senate's version of Statewide Paid Sick Leave - on March 7!

NJSA has joined with other major New Jersey business associations opposing this bill. Click here for a copy of the March 3 letter that was sent to the committee from over 34 different organizations. It states clearly the numerous reasons why this legislation is BAD for New Jersey!

If you've already contacted your Senator and let him or her know you are opposed to this legislation... please do it again! If you haven't spoken to your Senator, call the Senator's local office or send him or her an email letting the Senator know that a business owner/manager in his district is opposed to this proposed legislation (click here for a sample email).

We need you to reach out to your Senator no later than this Friday!  The Senate Committee meets next Monday.

If your Senator is one of the following, he or she is on the Senate Budget Committee and definitely needs to hear from you by Friday: Senators Paul Sarlo, Brian Stack, Jennifer Beck, Anthony Bucco, Sandra Cunningham, Linda Greenstein, Kevin O'Toole, Steven Oroho, Nellie Pou, Teresa Ruiz, Samuel Thompson, and Jeff Van Drew.

Even if your Senator is NOT on the Budget Committee he/she still needs to hear from you!

Thank you!
