Ken Sudnikovich (with NJSA Co-President Elaine Balady) was recently promoted to Chief Operating Officer of CoWorx Staffing Services, a Watchung, New Jersey based staffing provider.  Previously, Sudnikovich held several leadership, business development and implementation roles, his most recent as Executive Vice President of CoWorx.  Ken was also the chair of the NJSA Programs & Education Committee and was instrumental in organizing both the Alliance's Annual and Executive Leadership Conferences.

Staffing Employment Up 6.7% From A Year Ago

According to the U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, temporary help employment was 6.7% higher last month than in January 2014. Year-to-year staffing job growth averaged 5.7% in 2014, compared with 4.9% in 2013. Non-seasonally adjusted BLS data, which estimates the actual number of jobs in the economy, indicated that temporary help employment decreased 7.4% from December 2014 to January 2015, better than the 15-year seasonal average decline of 8.4%. Year-to-year, there were 7.2% more staffing employees in January than in the same month last year.
