80 staffing professionals from 37 firms attended the NJSA Annual Conference on October 29 at the Sheraton Edison Hotel. Reactions from the attendees were extremely positive with many stating this was the best educational conference ever by NJSA. "Our staff really enjoyed the day. 11/13/2009 — NJSA/STAFFING NJ PAC GET OUT AND VOTE CAMPAIGN

The "Get Out And Vote" Campaign was successful in helping to improve the NJ voter turnout to 45% at this year's election. Thanks to those members who participated in the campaign.

Over the past few months, there has been a significant increase in publicity surrounding organizations that were purported to be “staffing firms” or “temporary labor firms” when in fact they were not. The NJSA Board and Legislative Committee felt a clarification was needed to help educate the public and our elected officials on the difference between our members and the businesses that are registered as “Crew Leaders” or in some cases, not registered at all.

To help clarify the issue and provide a better understanding of the organizations that NJSA represents, a brief White Paper on this issue is available for you to download.
