| NJSA Golf Outing |
|
The 2009 NJSA Golf Outing will be held at the Fox Hollow Golf Club, Branchburg, on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 and we look forward to having you join us once again this year. In fact, we're counting on you bringing the same or another foursome this year and letting your clients and co-workers know what a great event this is.
The NJSA Golf Outing is a great way to reward employees for a job well done and the perfect environment for networking with customers and colleagues. This year's event will be held at the beautiful Fox Hollow Golf Club, plus we will have a putting contest and competing for the "Staffing Cup" - and bragging rights as the tournament's winning foursome for 2009. We are very pleased to have Zurich as the reception sponsor this year and they will present the Staffing Cup to this year's winners. Our 2008 winner, Aerotek, displayed the trophy in their offices this past year.

This year, we will again be playing in part for The First Tee of Middlesex & Somerset Counties - a youth foundation that provides education, character development, and life enhancing values through the game of golf. In addition to the opportunity to play with other owners and managers of staffing firms and important industry partners, you'll be playing to help support this great program for kids in New Jersey ... and your potential employment candidates.

| Tips for Successful Cold Calling |
|
1. State your name and your phone number first.
2. State what is unique about your firm....your "unique selling proposition" stated in terms that are important to the client.
3. Drop a name or two...establish your credibility in working with a similar firm.
4. Give a time to call back, such as between three and five o'clock. This makes you sound busy, and if you are busy you are important.Bonus Tip:Give a deadline date for the client to call back after which you will call them again. |
